Here & Now is a call to a renewed lifestyle of faith, urgency, and obedience—one that doesn’t end with a moment, but reshapes how we live every day. Rooted in Revelation 3 and Ephesians 5, this journey invites us to awaken personally so God can work powerfully through us collectively.

A Note From Pastor Jared Moore
If we’re honest, many of us have grown comfortable, distracted—even asleep. The pandemic only accelerated what was already happening. But what if this isn’t the end of the story? What if God has been preparing His Church—not to retreat, but to awaken?
At One Life, our story has always been marked by bold faith. For nearly 65 years, from a funeral home to where we are today, God has never called us to comfort—He’s called us to more. And every time, we’ve stepped out in faith and seen Him move.
Now, He’s calling us again. This may be one of the greatest steps of faith our church has ever taken—not just for us, but for our city and the world. We aren’t promised tomorrow. We have this moment.
That’s why we’re stepping into a new vision called Here & Now—rooted in Revelation 3 and Ephesians 5. God is calling us to wake up, personally and corporately, to ignite a fresh passion for Jesus that transforms us from the inside out.

Primary Goal
Our primary goal is 100% engagement – that all of us would be awakened to what God is calling us to in this next season. First and foremost, this journey is a call to spiritual growth. It’s about being awakened to God’s heart for generosity. It’s about being awakened to perspective, significance, position, and action. It’s about stepping out in faith and watching our courage and conviction grow as we follow God’s lead.

AWAKEN OUR CHURCH
At One Life, we want everyone who calls this church home to know God, find friends, discover purpose, and make a difference—and in the coming years, we’re committed to raising the bar. A key part of Awaken Our Church is reaching the next generation by investing more deeply in kids and youth, strengthening biblical literacy, and equipping parents to disciple their children at home. We’re also building a strong Digital Engagement Pathway so no one slips through the cracks, allowing us to disciple people right where they are and ensure every person feels seen and supported.

ACCELERATE OUR REACH
To reach every neighborhood, we must strengthen and expand the spaces where ministry happens right now. In East Mesa, we’re preparing for a permanent home to serve as a lasting presence in a rapidly growing area, while in Superior we’re equipping a young campus to become a regional sending hub as our Mesa Campus continues to grow and create more space for ministry. By investing here and now, we’re not just funding projects—we’re multiplying impact, extending hope, and advancing the gospel across our city and beyond.

ADVANCE HOPE TO OUR WORLD
One of the most effective ways we make a difference is by partnering with nonprofits already doing great work, focusing on tangible relief, leadership development, and church planting that create lasting change. As part of Advance Hope to Our World, we’re praying and planning to send 1,000 people on short-term mission trips over the next few years—awakening hearts and equipping everyday people to live on mission wherever they are. Advancing hope also happens locally through The Porch, where expanded outreach means more meals served, more safe spaces created, and more lives transformed by the love of Jesus.
